1. Use of the Service

Sedier enables users to visualise and arrange furniture in real-world spaces using augmented reality. You may use the Service for personal or commercial purposes. Interior designers, architects, retailers, and other professionals are welcome to use Sedier as a tool in their work.

You agree not to:

• Copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or modify the App itself or its underlying content (including 3D models, product data, and visual assets) outside of normal in-app use.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the functionality of the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful or harmful activity.
• Use the Service to infringe the rights of any third party.

2. Accounts

You can use the core features of Sedier without an account. Creating an account lets you save your work to the cloud and use it across devices.

Sedier accounts use Sign in with Apple, email sign-in links, and supported third-party providers, so there are no passwords to manage.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of the email address and Apple ID associated with your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You may permanently delete your account at any time from within the App, under Account → Manage Account. Deleting your account removes your saved content, and cannot be undone.

3. Organizations and Access Levels

Sedier accounts may belong to an organization. Access to certain features depends on the plan assigned to your organization.

• Organization plans only. Plans that unlock additional features are available only to organizations, such as companies, studios, and firms, for their employees and members. We do not sell plans or additional features to individual consumers or families, and there is no individual or family plan.
• No purchases are made in the App. Organization plans are arranged directly between us and the organization, outside the App. The App does not offer purchases, subscriptions, prices, or payment links.
• Individual accounts. If you do not belong to an organization with a plan, you can still use the core features of Sedier and every feature available to all users. You cannot buy or upgrade to organization features yourself.
• Joining an organization. Membership in an organization is arranged outside the App. You cannot create or join an organization from within the App.
• Your organization's administrator controls who belongs to the organization and may add or remove members.
• Content saved at organization scope may be visible to other members of your organization, and may remain with the organization if you leave it.
• We may change which features are included in a plan. Where a change materially reduces what your organization has arranged with us, we will give reasonable notice.

The contact form in the App is for organizations that want to arrange a plan with us. If you use it, we will use the details you provide to respond. See our Privacy Policy.

4. Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you create or upload, including room layouts and 3D room models (USDZ files).

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you and your organization. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to any legal retention requirement.

You confirm that you have the right to upload any content you provide, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

5. User Data and Privacy

Sedier collects anonymous usage metrics to improve the app experience.

If you use the App without an account, your layouts are stored only on your device and are deleted automatically after a limited period.

If you create an account, your account information and saved content are stored on our servers, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the ap-northeast-1 (Tokyo) region.

Room sensing and hand tracking are processed on your device. We do not receive scans of your room or camera imagery.

6. Intellectual Property

Sedier content. All technology, branding, and content created by Sedier is owned by Akagawa Innovations Inc. or its licensors. This includes the app, its design, software, and any assets that Sedier provides.

User content. Any assets you upload to Sedier, including images, models, files, and other materials, belong to you. Sedier claims no ownership over your uploaded content. By uploading content, you grant Sedier only the limited permission needed to store, process, and display it for you within the app. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Third-party content. Sedier may display product data, images, or models sourced from publicly available information on third-party furniture company websites. These assets remain the property of their respective rights holders. We do not claim ownership of any third-party content, and all copyrights and trademarks belong to their original owners.

Rights holder requests. If you are a rights holder and believe your content is being used inappropriately, please contact us at legal@sedier.app.

7. No Guarantees

We strive to provide an accurate and reliable experience, but Sedier is offered "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of dimensions or visuals
• That the app will be error-free or available at all times
• That layouts created within the app will reflect real-world conditions perfectly

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, without notice, especially in the case of:

• Violation of these Terms
• Misuse of the platform
• Legal or regulatory concerns

If you have an account, termination will result in the deletion of your account data, subject to any applicable legal retention requirements. Content saved at organization scope may remain with the organization.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Akagawa Innovations Inc. will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, device issues, or missed opportunities.

10. Apple App Store Terms

The following applies where you obtained the App through the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and Akagawa Innovations Inc. only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App. Support requests should be directed to contact@sedier.app.
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
• Akagawa Innovations Inc., not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to any legal requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• Akagawa Innovations Inc., not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
